Is your group or organization looking for a guest speaker who can address a topic about history? Perhaps the Local History Services Department of the Indiana Historical Society can help you. This department recently updated its Speakers Bureau. Among the many interesting speakers and topics are two Sisters of Providence.

Sister Barbara Doherty, coordinator of the Office for the Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, is available to speak to groups about “Saint Mother Theodore Guerin: Saint of Indiana.” Sister Marie Kevin Tighe, the former vice postulator of Mother Theodore’s Cause, is available to speak on two different topics, “Mother Theodore Guerin: Pioneer Hoosier Saint” and “Saint Mother Theodore’s Sixteen Years in Indiana.”
