Tours to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods have increased since the canonization of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin.
Visitors are invited to enjoy the beauty of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, where the life of Saint Mother Theodore, foundress of the Sisters of Providence, and the examples she set continue to be an encouragement to all ages and all faith traditions. Visitors were drawn to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods even more in 2006, which was highlighted by the Oct. 15 canonization of Saint Mother Theodore.
