Four new Providence Volunteer Ministers (PVMs) and two PVMs returning for a second year were officially commissioned during the Sisters of Providence Liturgy on Aug. 2 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, near Terre Haute.
Nancy Morales, Kate Sullivan and Arrianne Whittaker are giving a year of service at Saint Ann Clinic in Terre Haute. Jessie Light is giving a year of service at White Violet Center for Eco-Justice at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Alice Liu will spend her second year of service at Providence University in Taiwan and Kaitlin Ramsey is spending her second year ministering at 8th Day Center for Justice in Chicago.
