Family Day at the Woods - now an annual event!
This year's event (our 2nd annual Family Day at the Woods) was a success with more than 500 visitors in attendance at the Woods June 14 from 1-5 p.m. Family Day was again sponsored by Sisters of Providence and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and all performances, activities, food and fun were open and free to the public. Children and the young-at-heart enjoyed:
- crafts for various ages
- choir and handbell concerts
- storytelling with Vanita Moore from Brazil, Ind. (new this year!)
- puppet show (new this year!)
- face painting
- sidewalk chalk art
- All Saints Kazoo Band Parade (new this year!)
- Eco-Obstacle Course (new this year!)
- Golf Marshmallow Drive (new this year!)
- the opportunity to visit the community and school grounds founded by Saint Mother Theodore Guerin and
- food donated by Sodexo and SP Food Services and drinks donated by Pepsi Refreshment Services.
