What is a saint anyway?
Believe it or not, we all have the chance to be saintly. Christ instructs us in Luke to love God first and then love our neighbors as ourselves.
Saint Mother Theodore Guerin said it simply. “What have we to do in order to be saints? Nothing extraordinary; nothing more than what we do every day. Only do it for his love.”
Love is the greatest gift we can offer God and those around us. Saints are simply good examples for us to follow, in living our daily lives and following Christ’s example of being loving, merciful and just in all our relationships.
