These are just a few tools of the trade for studying our past.

Did you know that history is all around us? Under our feet, there may be remnants of old buildings, artifacts, maybe even the bones of ancient people! Even the desk or books you use contain history from past students - their notes (do not write in your books!), thumbprints and old bookmarks tell you something about their study habits and interests.

The Sisters of Providence have a rich and varied history. We even have a whole office devoted to maintaining information about our history! Called the Archives, this office is full of treasures about our past.

The information in this history section will tell you more about the history of Indiana, the U.S. and our experiences in this exciting past.
