What is social justice?
Have you ever stood up for a person who was being bullied? Maybe you or someone you know has been singled out because of differences in height, weight, skin color or personality. Did you ever think, “That just isn’t fair!” when you saw these things happen?
Social justice is about working to fix things in our world that aren’t fair. Sometimes those things are big — like trying to make sure everyone in the world gets food when they need it. Sometimes those things are small, but important to the people involved — like treating your neighbor with kindness.
