Welcome to the WoodsUp.com, a kids web site sponsored by the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana.

This site has content and activities geared toward children in fourth through eighth grades in subject areas where the Sisters of Providence have specific expertise. Although the Sisters of Providence are an order of Catholic women religious, we hope that all children, their parents and teachers will find something of use on this site, regardless of your faith or creed. Information that pertains specifically to Catholic theology or religious themes will be presented only in the Mother Theodore and Faith & Values sections.

Each section of the site contains (or will soon contain) activities for kids that could be used in a classroom setting.

Some sections contain academic standards information just for teachers, based on the Indiana state teaching guidelines.
